Lake Deerwood POA, Association, Inc. is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation, chartered in the State of Texas, in Harrison County.

We must all work together in order to build a better future for those who come after us.  Together we stand; divided we fall!

"We create our buildings and then they create us. Likewise, we construct our circle of friends and our communities and then they construct us."

ABOUT

 

Lake Deerwood POA , TX Association, Inc. is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation, chartered in the State of Texas, in Harrison County.

 

The POA was formed for the purpose of providing for the maintenance, preservation of the residential lots and the common property assets within the Lake Deerwood and promoting the safety, health, and welfare of its residents.  

 

The Board of Directors serve voluntarily on the board and are elected by the property owners. The property owner's annual maintenance fees are collected from each property owner in the subdivision is assessed to cover the necessary expenses.

Units B, C,D E and F have dirt roads that might require a 4-wheel drive to get to the property in wet conditions. The school bus does not run in those units.

THE POA 

The POA is governed through

By-laws and has a board of directors who are elected to three years alternating terms and elections are held yearly in October.  

 

Board members volunteer and do not receive compensation for serving. 

Property Owners Association, overseeing the upkeep and improvements of common property for the benefit of property owners who are current with dues.

Annual Fees

Annual fees-dues are required for every property owner in Lake Deerwood.  Dues are $60 per year on up to 4 adjoining lots and $15 per lot thereafter not to exceed $150.

Utilities 
Water, Electricity ,Septic etc.

Septic systems are required and must be permitted through the county and installation by licensed Contractor

Before moving any type of residence on to property. it must be approved by the POA according to recorded restrictions in County where property is located.

 

Water is supplied to all property by Harleton Water Supply  - contact no. 903-777-3740


Power is provided by  Upsher Rural Electric  out of Gilmer, Tx -  contact no. 903-843-2536
